A paragraph on James Byrne said he started the magazine in 2002 alongside Nicholas Cobic and had edited it for five years. It said he had done work for the Poetry Translation Centre, based at SOAS, made a recording for Oxfam's Life Lines series and had a hand in translating the Omani national anthem. His debut collection, Passages of Time, came out in 2003 from Waterways, with a second collection expected in 2008. He had given readings in Europe and America, and a tour for the magazine's fifth anniversary was being organised.
